Meeks and Ceely, P.L. is located on East Rich Avenue in Historic Downtown DeLand. Our mission at Meeks and Ceely, P.L. is to provide high quality legal service to clients by combining specialized legal knowledge and expertise, with an innovative, problem solving approach.
According to Attorney Meeks, the integral purpose of the firm is to provide a personal solution to a personal problem—to let clients know the firm cares: “I like my clients as people and want them to like me back. Since I’m a small firm attorney, I can give them more attention than they’d get at a bigger firm.”

About Attorney Meeks
Attorney Coren J. Meeks was born in Greensboro, North Carolina, but grew up in Winter Park, Florida. Following his graduation from the Stetson University College of Law, Attorney Meeks moved to DeLand, Florida to be closer to his family. He is happily married to his lovely wife Sarah. They have one son and they currently reside in the DeLeon Springs area.
Attorney Meeks honed his variety of legal experience working for firms in the elder law, business law, and insurance law fields over the years. Attorney Meeks’ early work with well-respected elder law attorneys helped craft him into a legal authority in all facets of Elder Law and Medicaid planning. Along the way, Attorney Meeks acquired a great deal of practice and understanding of the many faces of Elder Law, and his mastery in all of the above-mentioned fields make him a solid, knowledgeable source for legal counsel in the state of Florida.
Attorney Meeks is a member of the Volusia County Bar Association.
Community Engagement
In addition to his legal services, Attorney Meeks strives to give back to the community through his involvement in local charities. Attorney Meeks’ community involvement stems into his pro bono work with non-profit organizations and disadvantaged individuals.
Attorney Meeks’ pro bono services include involvement with the non-profit law firm Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida: Putting Justice in Everyone’s Reach.
